The Marketing Committee is a Board level committee consisting of the following Board Members:

  • Ian Danic
     

The responsibilities of the Marketing Committee are managed by a number of sub-committees as follows: 

 

Events Subcommittee. This group operates like a traditional ISITC Working Group with co-chairs and with Jocelyn and Bea acting as the Executive Sponsors. The group meets every second Tuesday at 2pm EST and is responsible for organising all aspects of ISITC events including the annual Vendor Show. This includes developing the agendas, securing speakers, on-site meeting logistics.

Property Management. Bea Inigo manages the relationships with the hotels. This includes negotiating the contracts, room rates, and food and beverage.



Website Subcommittee. Headed by Norm Papazian, this group includes Steve Goswell, Erica Choinski, David Hands, and Genevy Dimitrion. The group is responsible for all aspects of the website including:
 

  • support and development
  • managing the relationship with the developers and hosting company
  • managing the content of the public pages



Public Relations. Jocelyn Flaherty is responsible for managing the relationship with Cognito, our PR firm. Cognito manage all relations with the press including press releases, interviews, placing articles, the annual press conference at the Vendor Show.


Public Speaking. David Hands coordinates all external events at which ISITC is invited to speak.


 

Membership Subcommittee. Headed up by Ian Danic, this group is responsible for reviewing membership applications and for developing the strategy for expanding the membership.
